The Dumas Wesley Community Center is recruiting volunteers to teach life skills courses that will equip homeless women and children with the tools, behaviors, and competencies necessary to achieve long-term success and independence. Instructors may earn Continuing Education credits.
We are looking for instructors on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for the following areas:
- Predatory Lending
- Parenting Classes
- Healthy Boundaries
- Overcoming Trauma
- Job Readiness & Interview Skills
- Arts, Crafts, and Leisure Activities
Baldwin Family Village, a transitional housing program of the Dumas Wesley Community Center, provides safe shelter and essential services for homeless women and children in Baldwin County.
