The Gulf Coast Families & the Opioid Epidemic is hosting their 2nd annual "International Overdose Awareness Day" Event. This gathering will be in Cathedral Square downtown, starting with a non-denominational prayer service in the Catholic Cathedral. Following the service will be booths in the park set up by local agencies and organizations in the field of addiction and recovery. Speakers will tell their stories about their loved ones and how we can help stop the stigma of drug and alcohol addiction and overdose.
