Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Alabama

Habitat for Humanity of Southwest Alabama (HFHSWA) is dedicated to eliminating poverty housing as a matter of conscience and action throughout Mobile, Clarke, and Washington Counties.  We are a faith-based non-profit located in Mobile, AL.  We provide affordable homes to low-income families and we also have a Repair Program for Veterans!

At HFHSWA, we build decent, affordable houses at a low, no-interest mortgage for those in need in Mobile, Clarke and Washington counties!  We are able to provide that low monthly mortgage to our homeowners because of our volunteers. Our volunteers are the key to every house we build, in that, they are the ones building and rehabilitating our houses under the supervision of our construction crew! We have a few builds coming up ithat we need your help building. Duties range from painting, to flooring, and sometimes even put up walls! No previous skills are needed.
