Volunteer: Summer Bible Camp InternshipsAbout Our Camps: Our Summer Bible Camps are six weeks of Bible study, games, music, sports, skits, crafts, water, and especially, FUN. Each summer, we have the opportunity to share Christ with over 150 children from high-crime, low-income communities while providing them with a safe, positive environment in which to spend their time away from school, all at no cost to the individual. We are currently operating camps in 2 locations: Alabama Village (Camp LOV) and Toulminville (Camp Peace). We also have the opportunity to share the Gospel with more than 250 additional children at multiple City of Mobile Parks and Rec and Boys and Girls Club summer camp sites Summer Employment: • Camp is 10am-4pm Tuesdays-Fridays, June 9-July 17, 2026. • Training is June 1-5, 2026. • Must be 18 or older or have graduated from high school to intern. • We pay $1,000 for the summer, and can provide housing if needed. • Applications are available online now here! Volunteer: Provide a meal for Thursday Community Lunch at Light of the Village!Community Lunch is a weekly meal provided free of charge to the families we serve and allows us to stay connected with and minister to the adults in our community. We begin serving at noon and typically serve approximately 60-80 individuals. We are usually finished serving by 12:45pm. Volunteers generally arrive around 11:30 to set up and once they are done serving the meal, many enjoy sitting and eating with our folks and even praying with them. If you are interested in serving in this capacity, we would be so grateful! If you would like to provide a meal this year, the link to choose a date is here.
