Responsibilities for Education Curriculum Volunteer

Curriculum Development: Assist in developing and refining educational materials, including lesson plans, activities, and assessments, that align with our SEL and entrepreneurship curriculum focused on social impact.

Content Creation: Create engaging and interactive content, such as videos, presentations, and worksheets, to enhance the learning experience for students.

Research: Conduct research on best practices in SEL, entrepreneurship education, and social impact to inform curriculum development.

Collaboration: Work closely with other volunteers and staff members to ensure that the curriculum meets the needs of our target audience and aligns with our organization's goals and objectives.

Evaluation: Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of the curriculum through feedback from students, teachers, and other stakeholders, and make recommendations for improvements.

Training and Support: Provide training and support to educators and facilitators on implementing the curriculum effectively.

Community Engagement: Engage with the community to promote the curriculum and recruit educators and schools to participate.

Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of curriculum development processes, including version control and updates.

Fundraising Campaigns: Support fundraising efforts by helping to create and implement campaigns to raise funds from donors, sponsors, and supporters.

Marketing and Promotion: Assist in promoting events and fundraising campaigns through various channels, including social media, email marketing, and community outreach.

Donor Relations: Cultivate relationships with donors and sponsors, including sending thank-you notes and keeping them updated on the impact of their contributions.

Budget Management: Assist in managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring that fundraising goals are met.

The responsibilities of this job is: 

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase awareness and engagement. Create and curate content for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) that align with our mission and values. Collaborate with the marketing team to design graphics, videos, and other visual assets. Monitor social media channels for trends and opportunities for engagement. Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media and content creation Create post and marketing material to promote events Create and release base on a weekly schedule in partnership with marketing team.
