Housing First, Inc. the homeless coalition is looking for the following donated items for our Outreach Department to fill backpacks for homeless citizens. Please provide travel size items.
- Book-bag size backpacks (Need both masculine and feminine colors, i.e. black/gray and pink/purple)
- Men’s cotton socks
- Men’s and women’s underwear
- Face masks – Manufactured or hand-made
- Handi-Wipes
- Small bottles of hand sanitizer
- Travel-size First-Aid kits
- First-aid cream (i.e. Neosporin)
- Canned ready-to-eat foods (i.e. Ravioli, stews, etc..) that can be eaten cold
- Pop-Top Cans (i.e. Vienna sausages, potted meat, etc...)
- Fruit cups/pop-top cans
- Non-perishable snacks (i.e. packs of cheese/peanut butter crackers, etc.)
- Basic can openers
We will accept donations at our office at 279-B North Washington Avenue, or we will pick up donations at your location.
