Volunteer: Donations Request for Housing FirstHousing First, Inc. the homeless coalition is looking for the following donated items for our Outreach Department to fill backpacks for homeless citizens. Please provide travel size items. Book-bag size backpacks (Need both masculine and feminine colors, i.e. black/gray and pink/purple) Men’s cotton socks Men’s and women’s underwear Face masks – Manufactured or hand-made Handi-Wipes Small bottles of hand sanitizer Travel-size First-Aid kits First-aid cream (i.e. Neosporin) Canned ready-to-eat foods (i.e. Ravioli, stews, etc..) that can be eaten cold Pop-Top Cans (i.e. Vienna sausages, potted meat, etc...) Fruit cups/pop-top cans Non-perishable snacks (i.e. packs of cheese/peanut butter crackers, etc.) Basic can openersWe will accept donations at our office at 279-B North Washington Avenue, or we will pick up donations at your location.
