January 24th, 7 pm at University of South Alabama, Laidlaw Recital Hall

Lecture by MacArthur Award winner, Dr. Gregg Gonsalves, Ph.D entitled "We Will Be Citizens: From AIDS Activism to Mobilizing for Global Health Justice" will be first in a four-part lecture series on Global Public Health.  Dr. Gonsalves is an Epidemiologist and Global Health Advocate at Yale School of Public Health. 

Doors open at 6:30 pm and light refreshments follow the presentation.

Funding for the lecture series is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Education to develop a new Global Health concentration in the International Studies Program.  Sponsors include: Political Science and Criminal Justice, International Studies, College of Nursing, and USA Health College of Medicine.
