THIS IS THE 8TH ANNUAL DOG RIVER FISHING TOURNAMENT!
Who & Where: Everyone is invited to participate in the 8th annual Dog River Clearwater Revival fundraiser on Saturday, October 6, 2018 The Captain’s Meeting and the Weigh-in are both at the River Shack Restaurant and Oyster Bar (6120 Marina Drive). The Captain’s Meeting will be held on Friday, October 5 from 6-9PM.
When: Lines in at 6 AM. Weigh in station will be operational beginning at 1:00 PM on October 6th at the River Shack. Any anglers in line at the weigh-in station at the 3:00 PM cutoff time will be allowed to weigh in their catch.
Where can the fish come from? Inshore Alabama waters (Mobile & Baldwin Counties only)
Benefits: All proceeds benefit Dog River Clearwater Revival’s work to improve the water quality of Dog River and its many urban tributaries.
Registration & fees: Adult (Under 16 must have parent permission) $35 – Includes t-shirt and one tournament bucket per boat ● Youth (ages 15 and under) $20 – Includes t-shirt. You may register in person at the Captain’s Meeting Friday, October 6 from 6-9PM at the River Shack OR you may also register and pay online until noon October 5, 2018.
Adult & Youth Categories: Speckled Trout, Flounder, Redfish (slot), Bass* and Jack Crevalle
Prizes: Cash (1st – $300, 2nd – $200, 3rd – $100 in each adult category) and Plaques for adults ● Plaques and prizes for youth.
*Bass Category: 1st place – heaviest 5 bass weighed ,2nd place – heaviest 5 bass weighed,
3rd place – heaviest 5 bass weighed
