United Way of Southwest Alabama operates Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) locations across Mobile, offering free tax preparation for families and individuals who qualify. The program serves taxpayers with low and moderate incomes, persons with disabilities, the elderly, and persons with limited English-speaking proficiency.
