USA Office of Community Engagement

University of South Alabama (USA) is a committed neighbor.  We recognize that engagement with the community enriches scholarship and research, enhances teaching and learning, prepares an engaged workforce, strengthens civic responsibility, and contributes to the public good.  The Office of Community Engagement intentionally pursues partnerships aimed at producing mutually beneficial outcomes. We seek to be responsive to the needs of the community and promote civic-minded approaches. 

The Staff of the USA Office of Community Engagement provides support to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members who seek to participate in a wide variety of community engagement activities including service learning, volunteerism, community engaged research, community engaged internships, and professional development.  We help create partnerships for Community Service and Service-Learning. It is our goal to be a one-stop shop for students, faculty, staff, alumni and the community to connect, collaborate and partner.
